All school teachers are entitled to 10% of their teaching time to be dedicated for preparation, planning and assessment. We provide a number of programmes to enhance the learning experience for children. All our programmes are linked to the national curriculum.
Schools have peace of mind that the child's safety and well-being is never compromised and we will not let a school down by missing a session.
The programme covers the PE national curriculum areas:
Invasion games
Net / wall games
Striking / fielding games
Gymnastics
Dance
Athletics
Classroom based activites
We have high standards of delivery and have a dedicated team of full-time coaches to deliver this programme in schools throughout the Tees Valley.
All coaches have received in-house and external training.
This training covers all practical elements fo the PE national curriculum and a theory module.
We guarantee the following:
Within reason the same member of staff attending the school each week, building up a relationship with the school and the students.
If unavailable a quality replacement who is able to pick up the scheme of work and deliver a session with minimum disruption.
The member of staff will be fully aware and follow the school's rules and ethos.
The member of staff will adapt a session for the school hall if necessary.
The member of staff will adapt a session for the classroom if necessary.
The member of staff will be a level 2 qualified coach, CRB checked, with up-to-date emergency first aid and child protection certification.
