One Day Courses

This course targets Year 5 and 6 pupils and focuses on positive health messages.

The children participate in a tour of the Riverside Stadium, an interactive healthy eating game, become a 'top premiership manager' in the ICT suite and an anti-smoking game show "The Price of Smoking." They also receive a healthy lunch in the George Hardwick Suite


The second part of the day is based at Middlesbrough Football Community Centre in Eston. The children are shown the importance of warm-ups and teamwork. They develop thier skills and finish off with the all important 'big match.'

This course targets Y3 and Y4 and concentrates on the importance of a healthy balanced diet and physical exercise.

The interactive games cover healthy topics in a fun way which encourages the children to make positive health choices. 

This course targets Y1 and Y2 pupils and promotes the importance of numeracy and literacy.

These skills are encouraged through fun and interactive games.

Boro mascot 'Roary the Lion' pops in to support the children's learning.
