With lots of talent on display, Laurence Jackson School of Guisborough came out the eventual winners after beating Macmillan College of Middlesbrough.
As part of the winning teams prize Boro defender Matthew Bates dropped into to meet the girls and present them with the Capri Sun Cup and medals. The girls then enjoyed those all important photographs and signing session
Matthew Bates comented "It's excellent to see girls getting involved in football especially at Middlesbrough Football Club. I have seen some of the girls' skills and some play in small sided games and the level is very good. Hopefully girls around Teesside will keep up with the good work and hopefully move on to better things in football"
