Planning fo the Future
Yr9 Students attending Darlington Education Village, have welcomed the Enterprise Academy into their Citizenship lessons. Students have been completing the OCR Preparation for Employment Qualification Level 2 where they are learning about working condition, rules and responsibilities and alongside this how to follow health and safety procedures.
After completing this course students with work towards a qualification in Career Planning, this will enable students to look towards future employment. They will develop their skills in letter writing, CV construction and application forms. We hope this course will allow students to develop both academically and with respect to their future oppourtunities and decisions.
All course tutors have commented on how well these students are working and that they are making excellent progress towards achieving all the qualifications which have been offered to them.
