First Team

The First Team project gives students the chance to develop entrepreneurial skills and build on knowledge already gained from studies with the Enterprise Academy.

Working in a group size of no more than 14 students, participants work on a 4 – 8 week project that culminates in a product or event.

As entrepreneurial skills are being tested and challenged, students facilitate the project.Enterprise Academy staff and professionals from the world of business provide support.

The project also has a strong focus on preparation for employment.

Students apply for a place with a covering letter, stating reasons for applying, appropriate qualifications and experience and specifying an area of interest (Media/Catering/Retail).

Short listed candidates will then be interviewed for specific job roles within the project.
