Entry to Employment

Entry to Employment ENTRY TO EMPLOYMENT

Middlesbrough Football Club in the Community is a registered charity that was set up by Steve Gibson in 1995.

Entry to Employment is a learning programme that has been individually tailored to help young people gain the skills and confidence needed to progress into education, employment or training.

There is an intensive period of initial assessment within the programme, in order to identify clearly the learning and support needs of each young person and assess the career and progression aims.

Entry to Employment ENTRY TO EMPLOYMENT

Why not enjoy some football coaching on one of our state-of-the-art indoor astroturf pitches or alternatively on one of our three outdoor pitches.

Learn or improve your football skills with one of our qualified coaches. If football isn't for you there are plenty of alternatives such as dance and aerobics.

Why not earn why you learn, you may eligible to apply for EMA weekly training allowance.

There are also bonuses for doing well on the course, and progressing into a job or training.

Many rewards and incentives are given for achieving set goals and targets including tickets to a Middlesbrough home game

Entry to Employment WORK PLACEMENTS

Would you like to help train the workforce of tomorrow?

The aim of Football First’s Entry to Employment programme is to provide individual educational and training opportunities to young people living in Teesside, along with promoting health and well-being.

Employers have identified that they are increasingly concerned about the lack of job related skills within the young workforce.

We are currently looking for local employers to join us in providing quality workexperience placement and tasters to allow our learners to gain job related skills, and gain knowledge of your industry.

Statistics show us that providing work experience opportunities allows young people to make informed decisions about their learning and employment paths. By offering work experience to young people you will help create the skilled workforce of tomorrow.

Help us to help them, and ultimately, help you.If you would be interested in taking part in this scheme, and help a young person reach their potential.
